So there is a 93 octane tune and an 87 octane tune that I can select from for my K motor 2007 NBS 2500HD 6.0.
So my questions:
1) If I plan to, say, use 89 otcane gas, which tune should I use as a starting point (at which I can fine tune LTFT, injector slopes etc) the 87 octane tune or 93 octane tune? is the only real difference between them how much spark advance is used or are there other factors?
2) I do a lot of towing (5000 lb load), is there any recommendation on tunes to maximize gas mileage for that application?
Thanks for finally supporting my CALID for my K motor NBS truck, Ive had the predator now for 7 months and only this morning I was able to finally program it.

RE: U7194 8r10 question
Sorry bout the wait for the programmer.
1. I would use the 93 tune and back down the spark by 2-3% in all ranges. The only difference is timing between the two tunes.
2. Not really as we do not have part throttle fuel as an parameter as it uses 02 feedback for that, if you have any air intake mods or exhaust mods you might wanna check your fuel trims and get those dialed in, thats about all.
