intune install problem

Post by sport2008 »

I-1000 I just have installed updates , when I went to install tune back in 2012 camaro it came up a vin error what , I tryed doing a install of backup and it will not let me do that either WHAT TO DO ??

also the adjustable parameters icon is faded , still getting vin data error , I have update 1r01i , how do I clear vin data error and restore factory tune , the car runs but I have no way of knowing what tune is in it

I was told by a tech I needed to go to dealer and have camaro ecm reflashed and he was in the process of telling how to save the diablo tune that the ecm thinks is factory then we got cut I called back and waited for 64 min no answer.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO WITH THE INTUNE TUNER TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND BE ABLE TO INSTALL TUNES IT HAD WHEN I PURCHASED IT?? CAN i GET THE STOCK TUNE FOR A 2012 CAMARO WITH L99 MOTOR FROM DIABLOSPORT WHERE I GOT THE THING ARE DO I HAVE TO GO TO THE DEALER AND PAY 90 BUCKS AND SMASH THE INTUNE TUNER

known issue with the new intune updates... you needed to restore original backup to vehicle first before updating apparently...

the Tool will read the tune out from the vehicle as a backup. Send that file and your old/original backup files to [email protected] explaining the issue and we'll send them a file to get back to stock

Plug the tool into the vehicle and try to tune it. It will read your tuned back-up and save it to the tool. Connect the tool to your PC at that point and open the Intune's drive on your computer. You will see a folder labeled "Tunes". In that folder, you will see a file labeled with a long number and "backupdiablotune". Take that file and any other files in that folder, attach them to an email and send them over to us ant the above mentioned email address.
No, i don't work here.

no the vin error. is because all the files were not updated on the tool. Please reconnect that tool to the computer and open the auto updater. that will continune to download the needed files.
