2009 Charger would not shift after writing
This has happened 3 x's. Once after writing the 91CAI tune, once when modifying this tune and tonight when I changed to the CAI tune which I am assuming is the 93 octane tune as stated in another post. I asked but never got an answer. It took me 4 flashes to get the car back to where it would shift and not rattle the entire vehicle when put in drive or reverse. This is not my 1st time using a tuner and I can't say these scenarios instill confidence in what is being modified. Are there anymore updates coming out for Dodge vehicles or is this it (currently 1R01H)? I had to update it less than two weeks ago before it would even write to my vehicle with a file you sent me.

Do you have an aftermarket cold air intake installed? If not, that may be why you're having trouble with a CAI tune.WTO wrote:This has happened 3 x's. Yes I have a CAI on it. The intune may be the next best thing but if I had it to do over I would have bought another predator.

I would definitely avoid setting your car to any tune unless you're absolutely sure about what changes it will make. The 93 tune on the inTune is called the Diablo tune.WTO wrote:I changed to the CAI tune which I am assuming is the 93 octane tune as stated in another post. I asked but never got an answer.
I believe that the inTune has the same tunes loaded onto it that the Predator has. The only difference is that the inTune contains tunes for multiple makes and models and has upgraded data logging tools.WTO wrote:The intune may be the next best thing but if I had it to do over I would have bought another predator.
Whatever the type of fuel you have in your car, whether it's 87 octane or 91 octane, I would try setting the tune that matches the octane rating and you shouldn't have any problems.
