DR status

Weeks of different people asking for updates (months actually) and no replies...

I think they're purposely avoiding this thread. I think the thrashing everyone of them received when they announced the delay and failed the meet the three other new deadlines they had announced after that and missed; has them all afraid of what might happen if they announce yet another delay or even a definate date and miss that as well. Either that, or they're still posting that info on a different website (which still baffles me why there and not here first...)?

I'm sure that since a new release date has not yet been annonced it will not be "on the shelves" before XMas as it'll take forever to get them out to their vendors before they can even start getting them out the pre-ordered customers. So thinking of this as a XMas gift just went out the door for me. But I'll continue to monitor it's development progress so that when it does come out I can then reconsider buying it.

My question is; what will you be monitoring? Since they are not releasing any info at all there is nothing to monitor.

I was told by a guy named Dave at a shop in Mi that tunes pcm's that the
Diablo will be a joke. I was not impressed with the mans attitude at all. I
have lots of money in my Ram and tune with a psc1-003 and it runs well.
Can we really see a tuner from you guys that will wipe the smile off of the
face of this Mi performance shop? To think I was going to drop money in this guys hands for a custom flash and get nothing but rude attitude,I think I
will be happier waiting for Diablo.......

I think the problem is the "Torque Management" system to keep the drive train from being destroyed!!??

My truck has the "Mushiest" shifts of any vehicle I've owned and I was told it was to protect the tranny???

If Diablo was to sharpen up the shifts like we want them to.....Dodge would be on their butts about broken parts.....I'd bet!!!

Comments and ideas please??

Mike,

Can you truthfully say that we will have a tool to modify the crappy trans shifts or not?? This is getting ridiculous!!!

I have been waiting for several months for the Dodge "tool" but that isn't so important as the 06 Vette trans management software I've been waiting for since JUNE.....month after month it's the same old thing here AND there....."It coming soon"!!

If I could, I would return the "tool" for a refund ASAP but I'm sure you wouldn't honor that either!!

I know you guys must be under a lot of pressure but just remember it is all self imposed!!!

Now, can you honestly answer my question or not?? If not, I will be moving on and find my tuning elsewhere...SORRY!!

PS: I'm very happy with my Marauder "Blower Tune" and the Predator so I know you guys can do it!!??

I bought a competitor's tuner last week and it works fine.....much firmer 1-2 and 2-3 shifts at part throttle and VERY firm at WOT!!

Fuel mileage with 91 octane tune seems to be up about 3 MPG around town!!!

I'm sure Diablo will eventually get the "TOOL" out but I have waited so long with no input from Mike....I just gave up!!

Now for the Vette trans tuning I've waited for since June 07????
