Basic question: Gauges. Engine start up.

Post by ricks »

Hey Guys,

I've had a Predator for awhile. I decided that I want a boost gauge and an A/F R gauge, both digital.

My basic question for tonight is.: If I get a Trinity and set it up to display those gauges: Will I have to do anything to display those gauges every time I turn the car on? Or, can I set it up to turn itself on and monitor or record those gauges every time I start the car?

Thanks,
Rick

Yup, it will turn itself on and off with the car...nothing to do.

Hey Guys, been gone a little while, but this is a great thought, I'd like to do this also. Is there any trick to this or is it just a straight forward gauge set up. My Trinity is the old style, will it run down my battery?

Good thinking, ricks.... and thanks Diablo!

if the unit goes to sleep when plugged in now, it will do the same after analog inputs are added.
