If I Buy Predator/Powerpuck Stack Kit??

Post by regulator_2k6 »

If I were to buy the Predator/PowerPuck Stack Kit, would it be recommended that I would have to buy guages, performance clutch, and or what other parts to accomodate the two??

Gauges are required if you want to run beyond the 100hp Economy tune.
You should also have an exhaust ( Aftermarket 4" turbo back minimum).
A clutch may be necessary if you want to make big power as well.

Thanks

I've got a 04' dodge 3500 with a straight pipe, so that would be 4" back from turbo right?? I thought that dodge has 4" from the factory?

4"...yes but there is a resanator(the big round thing) and muffler in the way. With those in place it might as well be a 2"pipe.

If you have an 04 then it's got a 3.5" exhaust from the factory. If it's an 04.5 then it will be 4". My clutch would easily slip on the 100hp performance tune. The truck was almost new too....
Guages are always a good idea. Fuel pressure and EGT first. Then boost.....

OK.... anyway if either one was a true straight pipe or the muffler atleast straight through your temps will stay down alot easier.

Yep you will kick yourself later if you dont...
I still think thiese trucks should come from the factory with a EGT gauge or atleast a probe monitered by the computer.
