predator killed my car

so i bought my predator u7140 about a year ago, played around with the tunes that came with it, and generally ive been happy. i like the firm shift. I just bought some ford racing hot rod cams for my car so i decided to do an update. when i restored to factory on my car all went to hell. ive done some reserch and i have seen people have had the same prob, but no solutions that ive found except for reflashing the comp. im hoping i dont have to do that. btw my car doesn't turn over and i get a few crazy things goin on with my dash. so before i take a hammer to my computer i thought i would post on this forum as a last ditch effort.

i have updated my firmware to 9.0.9 and i have pulled term off of batery to now avail

i have tryed diff tunes. nothin, wont start

my car is a 06 mustang GT auto
it has K&N CAI
BBK long tubes
no cats
and soon ill install the cams


any help would be appreciated

so, it reads and writes, but will not start? Did you restore prior to updating the tool?

so i sent my car to get reflashed at ford. he said there was no information on my computer. i figured maybe i bumped the connection with my knee or somthing like that. so i got it home and i got up the nerv to try it again, because i really do like the tune. it went to save backup and got to about 13% and gave a code flash error ux-2000 and I got lucky and my car still works. should i just throw this predator away or is there a fix?

there is something wrong with that tool....Id suggest sending it in for a fix before attempting to use it again.

ya would love to, however since i cant find my reciept, u guys told me you would charge me to fix it. plus shipping and i live in victoria b.c, it would be cheeper for me to just buy somthing else. to be honest i liked my tuner ( till it killed my car ), but the customer service is a little lacking. why do u need a reciept when i clearly own it.

well, without a receipt you could have bought it 3rd hand from ebay for all we know....
