Does Trinity keep the ABS working after tire size change?

Post by zrmindless »

Hi.
I have a Trinity and a 2006 Yukon 4x4 5.3L 4-speed 1500.
I have been told that installing tires 3% or larger than stock will disable the ABS on the truck. I know the Trinity has a function to correct tire size - but does this merely correct the speedometer, or does it actually enable the ABS to keep working fully and properly?
Thanks!

Should be fine, I only see 07 NBS trucks to be a real issue.

Thanks

to answer your question, it changes the tire size in the tune file to correct the speedo... it does nothing for the ABS system, since the ABS system/module is not part of the ecm/tcm tuning...

the ABS should still be fine after you adjust the tire size though... depending on how big you go, heh...
