E3 Spark plugs

Is anyone using the E3 Spark plugs?

Can't run them on a Hemi. You need to run NGKs. Anything else has a different resistance and will activate the auto shutdown relay, causing the truck to turn off at random times.

Been there, found out the hard way. Had to push the truck out of Taco Bells drive thru. :cry:

there are a few people on a dodge forum i frequent that have used them with no problems.

On the older Rams? Maybe the Rams have a different setup then. I know that on the LXs and Jeeps, its a no go. Most of the plug manufacturers, including major ones like Bosch, have even removed the Hemi vehicles from their catalogs and no longer sell plugs for them.

agreed on hemis they are a waste they activate the auto shut down relay on mine-- i ran e3s on my old 97 with a 318 with no problem-- but i run champions in my hemi and dont have a problem
