Convince me

Post by rspitz »

Hey y'all. I need some help. I have been reading pretty much everything on this forum and a ton about diablosport tuners from other forums but am still not decided. I know I am getting a tuner from you guys but dont know wether to go with the intune or the trinity. I have a 06 Magnum SXT 3.5l. So far just a custom exhaust but a CAI is in the works. For now just wanting to use the 87 octane but that might change. If you guys say to get the trinity help me justify it to the wife lol.

Thanks Rob

How about this; The Trinity is more reliable at this point. The inTune still has bugs that haven't been worked out.

So it's worth the extra bucks then. My choice right now is intune and cai or trinity and cai next month

I'd sell you my Trinity for a little more than a new Intune if that will help.

If you plan on having performance from your ride, you do need gauges. You could have 20 gauges inside the car, that it would probably not be enough...at least for me.

But being able to monitor thing like Trans Temp, AFR and such can save you LOADS of trouble.

Plus, if i am not mistaken, the Trinity have the "Race" mode, that only is well worth it.

The gauges would be nice but AFR will only b narrow band, trans temp would be nice but not sure if the cost of a trans temp gauge would be as much as the difference in price between the intone and trinity. If I am wrong and AFR is wideband on the trinity please let me know

No, its narrowband unless you have a wideband sensor and controller. Some of the newer Fords have widebands, but no GMs and no Mopars.

Thats what I figured. I got an 06 Dodge Magnum so I would still need to buy a separate AFR guage as I am working on getting a blower for it.
