I called today and was informed this is a moving target for those of us with MOPAR 11's as the CALID is a special one for us and until MOPAR / Dodge puts out an up for the PCM we are stuck.... There is no time frame for this so we may be sitting on the Trinity for a while.... He did tell me if it's newly purchased that we could contact the retailer and ask to return it for a refund and then just re-purchase when the tune is available.

When you say it will not take too long, are we looking at a couple days, weeks, or months? I want to start shreding the tires.

My concern is... "not too long" is a relative statement and considering the computers in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 have been in cars for 24 months and you’re just now offering the tuning for it I’m not sure I want to hold onto a Trinity until you release the software for the MOPAR 11. I gathered from this thread and the phone conversation you guys did not know the MOPAR 11 CALID was different than the other R/Ts out there and you are 100% dependent on Dodge to release a PCM update for that specific CALID all the while I have Zero use for the brand new Trinity I paid $599.00 for.

Thanks, but I think most of us are hoping for a time frame with a little more assurance than just hang in there…. I am not trying to be a tool…. Just trying to not waste 600 bucks either.

You made the statement on October 31, 2012.... about 1 year after my car was made..... and how long after the trinity software was released for 2012 R/T's? Also, why do the distributers not know about the issue or are they just wanting the money for a tuner that does not work on our cars?

I'm just saying that's a lot of money to be sitting on that is 100% useless to us with MOPAR 11's

Distributers don't know a lot of things, because they choose not to know. They were selling these tuners for the 2011s back in 2011. If they would bother to read the application guides they'd know a lot more then they do.

Mike, can you please be more specific? If Dodge is on this, it could take months. Since only 1500 some odd 11's were produced, and Dodge isn't that responsive anyway dealing with issues after the sale of their high volume cars, I'm not exactly seeing we're at the top of their worry list. I think this isn't going to be quick unless you're telling us that they're actively working the problem.

I don't want to wait several months and will be returning your product to the vendor unless your able to give us a reasonably quick timetable from whomever you're dealing with at Dodge.

Not to jump on the band wagon, but anyway this is gonna be done in the next week? I am deploying and could use the $600 elsewhere this isn't gonna be resolved before I leave ~Thanksgiving.

adding a few missing calids is a completely different task that breaking an 'unbreakable' encryption

Its not like we dont know how to read/write your PCMs, we just need to be able to access the cal data on our end, should happen this week.
