MDS disable and rev limiter

Post by ctmoore778 »

On my '12 Challenger RT, I installed a 91 tune with shift firmness, rev limiter bumped to 6100, and the MDS disabled but I can still feel/hear the cylinders shutting off. Is this a known issue or anyone else come across this as well?

I also have a question about the rev limiter... is it supposed to take effect in D on an automatic transmission or is it only when using the click-shift? It's definitely not working while in D at the moment. I'm wondering if my entire tune with my options never went through or if these are just not working as intended.

I first installed the 91 tune without any parameter changes. Once this successfully went through, I made the parameter changes including rev limit to 6100, MDS off, shift firmness on, and throttle boost +5%. Then this rewrote the tune and it said it completed successfully. I'm not sure if this answers your question or not, but when I changed the parameters, I definitely had MDS set to off.

Will the tune you provided allow me to make my other adjustments?

Also, any info about the rev limiter question?

we have identified this issue, and will be releasing a fix soon.

you wont be able to adjust params in that tune yet.
