my diablo tune experience... whats yours?

Post by taylorbickett »

so i have had my diablo intune for a couple weeks and only 89 octane it so i only ran the 87 octane tune with dod off and torque management off. i recently filled up my tank from complete empty (almost) with 91 octane, so i burned up a little bit and tuned my pickup to the diablo tune with dod and torque management off... all i can say is what the F*** :D ... i went to pass a semi at 45 mph with traction and stabilitrak off and i broke my tires completely loose :drivingbad: .. i went sideways and my girlfriend was freaking out lol i loved it but its a little scary everytime i punch it haha.. how is everyone elses experience with it?

ya it's a ton of fun man great power on the high setting nice and easy to drive with the lower setting on road trips put on the milage booster but what do you drive cause breaking loose at 45 is pretty good my brand new 6.2l won't do that very easy at that speed....was it wet or do you have small stock tires any way it's a great product. :P

That’s awesome I just got my Intune yesterday, I am glad i went against one my friends that swears up and down by sct. I think its pretty cool how fast people respond when you ask a question. Thing that made me the happy was finally having the speedo right on the money. My spedo use to be off by like 10% to 16 % plus the gain on the hp i got was crazy.

Honestly it took a little time to get it dialed in, without a drag strip but my hemi feels like its on steroids!!!!! Unfcknbelievable!!!!!! From throttle response to the way it burns through 1st 2nd and 3rd gear, yes burns 3rd not a churp a burn!, I have fairly new dunlops and new coil covers that are compression adjustable, so my suspension is tuned for dragging while I'm testing. I will say some of the settings were intimidating at first but like the tool says do the research, its worth it. I've built some high 9 second old school whips but , this 06 charger will pull low 12ves at the strip there is no doubt and that's without any internal massaging!
All I can say is great job folks!!! DONT BE CONTENT it makes you one of them!
