Predator froze during tune - now is acting locked

Post by danheit »

So yesterday I was re-installing my stock tune back onto my 2002 Mustang GT to give it a "break" for a while (save some $$ on gas, tone it down for a little while with the spirited driving, stop getting so many tickets), and while installing the stock tune back on my car, in the process of downloading the tune, the tuner completely shut off and restarted. Now it says that the tuner is not registered to this vehicle and my car is running like crap. Shows my last tune written as the Diablo tune. Most importantly is that my car is running like crap!! It now has a miss at idle and a noticeable miss under moderate acceleration. What do I do?? I called into tech support, sat on hold for about 15mins this morning, got Mike, went out to plug my tuner in while talking to him, and when I squatted down and stuck my head under the dash to plug the tuner in I dropped the call. Immediately called back, been on hold about 10 mins now. I really hope someone can lead me in the right direction!!

I'm running my old Grantelli Motorsports Blue faced Predator Tuner.
2002 Mustang GT N/A with an X-pipe, stock gears, stock pretty much everything else.

Tuner will still read the car for codes, etc. Still shows the correct VIN when I look it up in options, so I don't know what's going on.
