AFR Correlation Question

Post by hughesra »

Plan on a CMR tune soon, but curious if anyone has experience with tuning a 12 charger/challenger r/t and logging tuner open loop afr readings and have wide band correlated data at wot. I know the final dialed in fueling on the dyno will vary from set up to set up, but just trying to see how the numbers compare.... i.e. tuner log at 11.5.... wide band reading at XX.x?
Thanks for any experience shared!

the AFR in the log is simply commanded, it may not match actual at all if the tune is not dialed in.

I understand there is not an exacting ratio.... just curious if anybody had a tune completed and with afr at wot and then logged a afr from the tool.... just an interpolation to correlate the pcm data and actual wideband data... I am sure somebody has looked at this to establish a datum....
