Re: ABS light 5.7l HEMI Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hey Mike,
Unfortunately I am in the same boat. I really wanted this to work, but keep getting the run around "Next week......next week.....any time now". This issue is going on the 6th month mark, so I hope you understand the frustration we customers are feeling. We have been more than patient. I've locked the brakes up in the rain a few times already. This is becoming a safety and liability issue for DiabloSport at this point. Let me (us) know what we need to do to send these back for a refund.
Thanks,
BN

There are wrong records in the tyre size chapter. Thats appears after any try to write the tyre size by DCX. One man from Chrysler official service told me that wrong tyre size data could affect also the transfer case normal work. I claimed at some irregular pushes in the transmission while driving with the abs fault light. So he managed to wrote correct values. I have no claims so far.BigNutz wrote:Hey Mike,

Mike, you have to announce new update with the disabled tyre size option. Definitely. And people shall be warned about the issue with JGC.

If the That should probably be specified then since 99.9% of people arent buying this to use in auto mode, they want the power and tight shifts while in sport mode.mikel wrote:the intune works fine in sport mode sir, its the changes to trans settings that do not apply in sport mode, thats a chrysler thing, not really up to usnasmith342 wrote:I too am past my 30 day return period, and would like a refund on this tuner if the abs light, and other bugs are not fixed. agreed, This tuner should never have been released. You dont test out products on the customers, you put them through QA on test vehicles BEFORE the product goes on the shelf. I would like to return mine as well please let us know how...BigNutz wrote:Hey Mike,

This makes sense. The other day I tried putting it into 4x4 LOW and it would not switch out, but finally slammed out loudly. Sounded horrible!!! I didn't even figure it could be related until now.AlexIV wrote:

I had the ABS light on my 2012 hemi jgc with larger tires. If i remember correctly, the ABS still worked even though the light was on. Because the ABS came on when i was driving in the snow with the ABS light on. That was my experience anyway... and my two cents. This is just annoying to have the ABS light staring in your face. Aside from that, the programmer does it's job and I love the extra pickup it provides with an extra tune!

Re: ABS light 5.7l HEMI Jeep Grand Cherokee
The programmer may do mostly what its intended to do, and I also can attest to the ABS still working, only the light itself is on. I have taken mine to the dealer twice for repairs since using the programmer, and both times they have noted on the jeeps file that the light is on due to improper data in the tire size section. They have stated that this can void the $4000 lifetime warranty that I purchased with the vehicle. This is a Diablosport problem and a HUGE software Developer failure and needs to be addressed ASAP by refunding the people that dont want garbage software like this released for their $50,000 grand cherokee!mschmid2 wrote:I had the ABS light on my 2012 hemi jgc with larger tires. Yea the jeep dealer here in AZ offers a warranty for as long as you own the vehicle for 4k.
My ABS does still work, the light is just on luckily since I tow a 7000 lb boat to the lake once per week.
I realize that the encryption on these 2012 and up cherokees was hard to break in to but this just goes to show how shitty and inconsistent the programming of this tuner is. We have one person whose transfer case wont disengage from 4 low (which can strand the vehicle since you cant drive on 4 low on pavement), a few others whose ABS does not work, and the ABS light by itself issue. Great job Diablosport....

Re: ABS light 5.7l HEMI Jeep Grand Cherokee
On mine ABS had been working with ABS light on. But I had no chance to test that well on snow or rainy roads. I Just used hard brake once time at the dusty curb of the road. You see that is not easy to block the tires at JGC while civil drive at the dry and warm tarmac. Even when I tried to provoke that.Wolflead6 wrote:nasmith342 wrote:The programmer may do mostly what its intended to do, and I also can attest to the ABS still working, only the light itself is on. But .... having some pulse on the pedal does not make sure in correct ABS work in all conditions as it was pretended by the factory.

Re: ABS light 5.7l HEMI Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have been patiently waiting for this fix since at least April, to no avail. What really sucks is that I can't return my tuner to the purchasing company because it is beyond the 30 day return window. I feel that installing the CAI and running 93 octane on a stock tune would have been better and would not have made my gas mileage suffer as badly as this tuner has. Why would Hemifever tuning have better luck on tunes with the i1000 than the people who made it? Sad.

Been waiting a lot longer than since April. Also don't seem to be getting response from moderators anymore.spencerwallis wrote:I have been patiently waiting for this fix since at least April, to no avail. My dealer is returning it under warranty because IT DOES NOT CORRECTLY WORK! I expect Diablosports will be seeing many of these type of returns. http://www.diablosport.com/forum/images ... riving.gif

Here was their reply:
"Nathan,
Where did you purchase this unit? I apologize about the delay on the update you are waiting on. If you wish to return the product you will need to contact the dealer where the unit was purchased. They will instruct you on their return policy and how to send it back to them. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.

Please explain the situation to 4 Wheel Parts and reference that you spoke with Brian in the returns department. They should honor the return since DiabloSport told you to wait for this update. 4 Wheel Parts will be able to return the part here for a refund so they should not have a problem refunding you. Please let me know if there is any trouble with your dealer and I can have my sales rep contact them.

Re: ABS light 5.7l HEMI Jeep Grand Cherokee
Gentlemen, we got a Cherokee in the shop today, duplicated the ABS issue, fixed it, then redid the tire size with a new method and it worked properly. It also makes the light go out now if it is currently on.
I have a tester for Trinity that I will share with anyone who needs it asap, I should have a fix for intune as well in the next week or so.
Sorry for the delays.
Thanks
