Car Wont turn on

Tried to install the new update on a 2013 Charger rt, Trinity couldn't backup my original car information. It tried a couple of times and failed now my car will not start. Says to press the clutch and start button, but i have no clutch its an automatic. when ever i plug the trinity in even on a computer it says "last tune did not finish. The original will be restored" then it says "can't resotre original backup. it was already restored or was never saved. Please help.

Have you tried to pop the push start button out and use your key? My dashboard went blank during a tune and that was the fix, had to unplug the trinity and use the key.

Yes I would try the key to see if that works. I loaded up the 91 octane tune this afternoon. It took two try's to save my stock file. On the second try I turned off the radio, all accessories and waited for the chimes to stop.

I'm going to try it right now. how or what do i have to remove to get to the key slot?

Don't try. The Charger does not have a removable button. The Challenger does. Charger push start ignitions are completely key-less.

If the fob battery dies you just press the start button with the end of the fob.

yeah i just tried earlier and there is no where to put a key in. Guess im stuck without the car til tuesday.

That issue sounds like what I experienced with my 2012 back when the tunes first became available. Sounds like there are still some bugs to work out. You will get it resolved, but you will need to call DS on Tuesday morning. Have your laptop and tuner in the car with wifi available to you. They will need to have you read a code from your tuner and it will unlock it, at which point you'll plug it back into your laptop and force an update on it to reset it. Then another code to force the calibration update back to the car to put stock programming back on the vehicle. Something like that anyway. It will get resolved, don't take it to the dealer or call them, work with DiabloSport on Tuesday morning. I think it took about 45 minutes with one of them on the phone, though I did have to wait on hold for quite some time (new tunes, means lots of calls )

Yeah I'll be on the phone with them tomorrow after work. Is a laptop the only way to do this? I don't have one just a pc

This is word for word what happened to my 2013 Charger RT on Saturday. I am screwed. I have to be at work Tuesday morning with no freaking vehicle. It tried twice to back up the original then I walked away for a second to get my cell phone, and when I came back it said WRITING.....I couldn't believe it, I was in shock, I didn't even touch the stupid thing.

I used the Trinity on my 2010 Dodge Ram and it worked flawlessly. Now this happens. My wife seriously wants to murder me.

My Charger is 13 RT Plus with AWD. Just trying to put out as much info as possible so DS can fix this asap.
