Start a new Tuner log layout and watch your ST and LT Knock readings.

add some fuel in the rpm range where you see the knock start.

Re: how to check for knocks?
Mike,
I'm already at +5%,+7.5%,+10% WOT across the board and still getting knock. Only mods are Intake and catch can. Running the 93 map with Sunoco 93 Gas.
Going to increase the gas a tad bit more to see where I'm at. What range of fuel percentage have you seen people adjust with the 93 map?

Re: how to check for knocks?
I am showing 1.5 degrees of Short Term Knock Retard at 40mph, 2.5 degrees at 70 mph and 3.0 degrees at 105 mph. This is Wide Open Throttle. At normal spirited driving but not WOT the Knock retard is zero.
Is this normal or should I be adding fuel?

Re: how to check for knocks?
speed is not relevant, what rpm does it happen at, and does it recover quickly?

Re: how to check for knocks?
Ok I checked it again and at WOT 4700 rpm Short KNK was 1.5 and recovers when I ease on the gas. Next WOT on a long run 3770 rpm 3.5 short (Still at WOT) 5400 rpm it was 3.0 and then drop to zero when I eased up on the throttle and cruised at 60 mph. Next WOT and at 5400 rpm it was 1.5 and continued to 3.5 at 5300 rpms and then back to zero when I eased up on the throttle and just cruised at 60 mph. Long term is zero during all the runs. Both stay at zero unless I mash the pedal to the floor.mikel wrote:speed is not relevant, what rpm does it happen at, and does it recover quickly?

I guess I'm kinda dumb to this too. Exactly what is knock ? What should I look for in the ST and LT log ?

Re: how to check for knocks?
Nubbie here, there are 2 numbers 0/2.5 for example. does that mean the st knock was at 2.5 them recovered to 0? Trying to see if mine is acceptable. Most i had is 3. 0/3.mikel wrote:speed is not relevant, what rpm does it happen at, and does it recover quickly?
Tried adding more fuel, at 5, 7 , 7 across.
Running mopar CAI
Magnaflow catback
180 stat
and the 93 tune with 20% throttle, fans set, MDS off, fuel at 5, 7 ,7
Any input or that is fine.
Also my best 0-60 is 4.7 and that was tough to get. What has been the norm or decent 0 to 60 times?
