2012 charger srt8 problems

so I just bought a trinity tuner and I don't know how to update it. it doesn't have my car make or year on the tuner. Im a nubie so please help me

Download the DS Downloader from our website on the downloads page, then select "Update Tool" under express tune mode. http://www.diablosport.com/downloads-updates?pid=2

I did that but I don't have"update tool" as an option. it says send tune file to tool or get tune file from tool.

Sounds like you need to grab the corner and expand the window just a bit. i can assure you the option is there.

got it. now it says something about containing the original back up file and it says I need a password from one of you guys

you have to restore the stock tune before you can update the tool.

It says that it's unmarried and there is no tune on it

if you hit options/troubleshooting/select the - at the very bottom, the tool will tell you what its married to.

So I paid 400 for a trinity tuner that was married? Lol

Did you buy the tool new? when you hit the - what did it say?

I bought it from my friends brother who moved to Cali a few weeks ago. Across the country. It says it was used on a 2005-2012 gm car/truck. Is there any way I can unlock it?

If you do not have the ability to remove the tune from the married vehicle than yes we can unlock it. You will have to fill out the return authorization form on our site, located under the support.
