Difficulty installing tune to 2013 Dodge Challenger

OK, so when I go to install 91 Octane tune to my 2013 Dodge Challenger it tells me I need "additional tuning". I go ahead and follow prompts, which requires Turn ignition ON and OFF, and ON and OFF. The problem with that is the car has to detect the FOB in order for it to respond to pressing the Ignition buttom to put the Ignition to ON. It worked the first time run through, for ON and OFF cycling, but then my FOB was no longer detected....

Thankfully, after detaching the Diablo inTune, the FOB was eventually detected and I seem able to start my vehicle.

So, any suggestions here how I am can complete this if my FOB is becoming undetectable during this procedure?

Try using the key instead of the push button. Put your finger on the bottom side of the push button and pull towards you. The button will pop out, allowing you to put the fob in and use it for the key cycles. Try that and let me know if you still have an issue.

Hi There,

I tried using the key, 5 times, no luck. I cannot get past performing the back up. I get error message/code 18?

I tried turning/cycling the ignition key before hitting the green check mark AND I tried cycling the ignition key AFTER selecting the green check mark on the unit.

you have to do it before, the check is to confirm you did it. if it tells you to turn off, turn off then select the check.

Right, I did both ways and no luck, didnt work, several times that way.

Tried it again just now, starting writing pcm back up, time to cycle key, performed off cycle, then turned it back on, it failed with error code 16.

for anyone else out there who has this issue here is what resolved it for me:

1. Use the key instead of the push button
2. In vehicle personal settings turn the delay to power accessories on exit to OFF
