Error: system is too rich (first bank and second bank)

Post by Gad »

hello,

i have 2006 Chrysler 300C, 5.7 l, 8 cylinders, installed with full kit STS single turbo kit and diablosport intune i-1000 comes with the package, which i bought from STS for turbochargers.
after installing the turbocharger full kit, i get in contact with STS for the tuning file for the parts replaced in my Chrysler, sent them my backup file and received the custom file.
the car runs good, but i receive check engine light, after connecting my intune and reading error its all about (system is too rich ) first bank and second bank.
so i wonder if you can modify the custom file for the full kit to get better AF ratios and good run for the engine to clear errors i receive.
waiting your reply, thanks

I would imagine STS would need to make changes to the tune for your application. Most likely it is locked for their access only. You should be able to make WOT changes by logging PIDS but STS would need to make open loop changes that would affect cruise. Do you have a wide band O2 for A/F monitoring?

I am installing AEM electronics Failsafe wideband / boost gauge , I am fixing it and will finish in couple days. But i did change WOT ratios and i think i did work because the engine sound changed and there engine knocking, tho i think its working .
