2013 RAM 2500 Power Wagon

Post by GSXRJ »

Hi. Does anyone know if there is a difference in tunes or additional support needed for the Power Wagon? I don't want to lose my eletric lockers or swaybar disconnect, or :drivingbad:

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks,
J

So I believed what Mike said and flashed the 91 tune to my truck. Now I have no radio and the display is black. Less than pleased.

I restored the original backup and it did NO good. AWESOME! Going to take care of a few things that I need the truck for and then talking to to the dealer. I will let everyone know what the outcome of that is. In the interim I would advise 2013+ Power Wagon to not use a T1000 just yet; unless you want to lose your nav, climate controls, all A/V, access to settings, etc.

Should have known...

I am not sure. Do you mean traction control and tire size? I did not change those.

I did change the rev limiter +400

After removing the tune I have a persistent TRACTION (not ABS) light as well.

*It may be worth mentioning that I have the Uconnect 8.4a head unit.

Mike,
Any update? I essentially have a $50,000 paperweight sitting in my driveway.

Ok, wish I would have found this page about 5 hours ago. I just bought the Trinity for my 2013 Powerwagon and now I'm afraid to even attempt to hook it up to try it out? So did I just buy a $600.00 paper weight?

I'd trade positions with you any day. Be thankful you don't have a 50k paperweight like I do!

I strongly suggest you wait until the issues are confirmed fixed by a reliable source before you even so much as plug it in. It WILL bring you headaches if you tune your truck. Monitor this thread for updates.

Does a moderator want to step in for any kind of an update on this? Or should I see if I can return my Trinity for a refund because I sure don't want to hook up and find out it's going to mess with the functions of the truck other than what I purchased it for.
