Question Before I Install U7135

I'll make it quick and simple:

Vehicle: 2006 Dodge Charger R/T
Tuner: Predator
Version: v.9r12
Part: U7135 U7135

I was told that the older predators wont update past that version v.9r12? Any truth to that? Would I be ok loading the tunes from that version.

Tuner is unmarried.

Well just my luck, went to go plug in the predator excited andddd......the car needs to be updated. Well, Crap.

While I'm waiting on the cables to get here via Fed Ex is there anything I can do in the process.

I downloaded DS downloader. I should be able to plug the tool in, auto connect, goto quick tune and download the calibration update.

When walk out the car, plug in it, update calibration, then tune accordingly correct?
