11+ Trans tuning

Just heard a rumor that the TCM codes have been cracked and we might see trans tuning. Any truth to this?

Will we ever see trans options on the 11-14's? These 5500 rpm shift points are really limiting.

It was a lot of assuming on purpose to try to drag a reply out of you :P

So here it goes again. By dissecting your replies it seems that it has in fact been considered, yet not high on the priority list.

I know what you mean, this is pretty important when tuning "the full package" vs PCM tuning. Its going to be awesome when it finally happens a few years from now the way things seem at the moment. This needs to be done as I'm sure everybody without support is waiting, but 8 speed owners obviously stand to gain a lot, especially with how soft and suboptimal the shift points are. I'd like to be able to adjust torque limit as well as TC lockup, faster shifts, rpm shift points, rev limiter, line pressure, etc. Currently Eurocharged Performance can fully adjust the 2011+ TCM, why can't Diablosport?

do they have a nice little handheld that allows you to flash the TCM on your own?
Sending the box out to have it flashed is a different ballgame than doing it in your driveway ;)

First off, I love Diablosport, both the company and the results of their hard work. So with that in mind, everything that proceeds this sentence should be seen as a labor of love with the intent of contributing towards making DiabloSport a better company through consumer feedback.

Lol, no it isnt that simple, but they do offer computer interfacing with proprietary software like EFI Live, so with a TCM calibration request it could theoretically be done in the driveway with a laptop. I already bought into Diablosport so I like many will have to watch other companies tune the TCM and wait for Diablosport to prioritize this feature whenever that may be. Hey if DS is working on it without a timeframe for deployment then I understand. I just hope you know how excited many Diablosport customers are for TCM adjustment... maybe even excited enough to pay another company extra to do what they bought the intune dcx/ trinity to do in the first place. What good is an efficient and powerful PCM calibration with a sluggish, soft, inefficient TCM calibration holding back potential gains? Eventually there is a wall at the transmission that many may have already hit, which is what makes the prospect of waiting years for Diablosport not seem appealing. That being said, I just wanted to make it known that there still seems to be a lot of interest in TCM adjustments for 2011+ customers. That and I can't even reset my TCM adaptives. Yes it does make a difference when you can't reset them. Not only is the feature present but broken, but after driving the car for 6-8 months the TCM seems to adapt to newly calibrated power and excitement by aggressively removing it for the sake of economy.

I feel you, and we are aware that adding TCM will be huge.
Its not that we dont want to do it, or havent wanted to offer it, but its a project like anything else.
if we had done it in the past, something else would have slipped, for sure. Maybe there would not be 13-14 support, or maybe it would have affected new Fords or Gms, but it always affects something.
Adding it is on our list for sure these days.

BTW, TCM reset adaptives should be fixed here:
