Freezing while monitoring

Is the problem with hc with no tunes mean you can't marry it? What if you tried tochange stock tune would that get it to marry the tool so you could upload the custom tunes?

You can marry the tuner. Since there are no Diablo tunes you need to choose modify stock tune. This will save your pcm/tcm backup. After it saves the backup you have the option to continue tuning the modified stock tune or cancel tuning. Choosing to cancel will allow you to upload a custom tune since your backup is now stored. To eliminate any of the issues, freezing, and no Diablo tunes, just flash the mega crom. I mentioned this above.

I have been running 1r10 since I had the freezing problem. Does hc still freeze up also?

From what I tested hc doesn't freeze up. The only issue I ran into was the no Diablo tunes.

I received my unit on FEB 4th and just opened yesterday FEB 22nd .I had issues downloading the drivers to my WINDOWS 8 laptop so I decided to do it on the PC . Kind glitchy downloads but everything appeared to be functioning . I took it out to the vehicle and installed the 93 oct . The right side of the screen does not seem to be funtioning properly and when I put it in monitor mode it would work fine until I tried to go to the next screen then it would freeze immediately . I am scared that if I don't figure this out soon before my 30 day window for a return . Please advise

Sounds somewhat similar to what's been happening on the latest update(1r10g). What revision is your trinity on?

mega is downloaded and saved but still will not recognize it.
when I click update file to trinity it wants to look for a *FRG,*FRD,*DRG,*GRG,*LAN,.2CL file.
therefore it doesn't see any of the downloads cause they are not listed that way.
at least my truck will start-

I see there is an update named "trinity_dcx_gas-1r10g_update" which is the same as before but the issue date is 2/21. Is this the fixed update?

No I don't believe so. The next revision for file would be "1r10h".

When we install the update, if we have a custom tune will we have to flip it or can we just re-install?

I tried the hc file and it failed to take the back up. Code -30 I think it was. All the pre loaded tunes were there though

so I uploaded my custom tune to the trinity after updating to the hc file. Took it to the jeep with out marrying it and was able to upload straight to the custom tune. It took the back up and loaded the custom tune just fine. After it uploaded though before it finished and went back to the main screen, the trinity told me to apply the parking brake and turn the ignition on and turn headlights off to conserve the battery. It then did a 1 to 5 count and went to the main screen just like normal. All the preloaded tunes are still there on the hc update

Looks like the fix will be released tomorrow.

I have confirmed logging is fixed, logs will upload to DV and play back, etc.

Same here ...Now I'm dealing with the seller on Amazon to return it . I hate to say it but it looks like I am going to have problems doing so.

well don't know what I did different but dumped the desktop and loaded everything on laptop.
was able to load the original 2013 crom and download to the Trinity.
was able to save factory tune and download the 93 tune.
of course this is the original Diablo tunes.
will wait to do updates till a few more guinea pigs try it!!! LOL!!
