Heck, I was scanning the parameters of a 12 SRT-8 Chrysler 300 the other day and the engine is actually TQ limited! I think it was limited to generate 427ft/lbs of TQ. Can you imaging what would happen it the TQ limit was gone! I know engineering probably did this to help other components survive in long term situations...but when we want more power, we should not have to worry about computer restrictions when it comes to engine output.
The 3.6 tuning in a FWD should be the same as RWD applications. The only difference between the two configurations is the direction the engine faces and the transmission. Obviously long term testing shows the FWD 62TE can not handle the TQ capacity that the 65RFE (Rwd Aps) can handle. Any increase in power may void your warranty if the failure is because of your alteration. OE has to make the component last.....so...
FWD 3.6L applications = 283hp
RWD 3.6L applications = 315hp
Thats a 32hp difference between the FWD and RWD, you mean to tell me that our FWD transmissions can't handle the 32hp increase? How about the software to increase the HP of the Challenger/Charger/300 up 10-15%. So lets say your RWD generates 400hp, now add the DS 10-15% increase, that 60hp at 15% increase.
I don't see what the major issue is with the software other than the transmission programming. The engine is easily tuned as you already have 3.6 base files.
I can data log driving scenarios using my PalmerPerformance software...the info in my last vehicle was used to reprogram the pcm and possibly generate a code

You think there going to let the avenger have more horsepower then the charger or challenger.

Also I have a t1000 as a paper wieght till you guys get this going. Kinda upset. I need to know even if theres no tuning can I still use it for the extra gauges and 0 to 60 timer?
14s will be right behind this if not during development.
Are you guys going to add e 85 tuning also. Cause thats where the most power will come from considering we are e85 compatible

if the vehicle is already flex fuel capable, the tunes will work with e85.
Custom tuning will be where e85 gains will really shine

I wonder why no E85 tune. The car, in my opinion, already feels like it has a little more hustle when running E85. More development time needed for another octane level? Or maybe the difference between E85 and winter mix E85 (E70) could cause issues with a tune?
Mike, I haven't received a response to either my email or my post. My vehicle is readily available and I do NOT need a loaner if that is an issue. I am also located in South Florida. Please let me know what I can do to help out with this.

Sounds great Mike! Look forward to hearing from you.
I have a tester for Trinity to get started, but we're waiting for the intune side to get done so we can get both tools tested side by side. It looks like I should be starting on vehicles come Tuesday hopefully.

Sorry if we're coming across as a little impatient. We HAVE been waiting for quite a while. I can't wait for this to be ready. I'm waiting, cash in hand, to buy one of these
I just want to give a whole hearted thanks to Mikel and the rest of the Diablosport team for trying to make this happen, regardless of whether or not it will work or how long it takes.
This may sound sappy but it means a lot to myself and the rest of the Avenger/200 community that one tuner company sees the potential in these great cars (regardless of what the hacks that are called auto journalists say).
So, once again. Thanks! And good luck with it. I hope Diablosport sells a hundreds of them!
Like I said I already spent my 500 bucks on mine. And now waiting for the updates through diablos website. So you guys are alreadyvmajinh money off this.
