Latest Intune Version/Registration

Post by rgaff585 »

I am new to the Diablo tuners, from what I have read it seems as though I need to make sure I have the latest update. The version I currently have is 1r03t. Is this the latest? Also, is it possible/necessary to register the tool online?

Thanks for the help.

To update I do believe you have to register. But I could be wrong.....but before you update..wait a couple weeks....the last update has a glitch on the dcx- intune......I lost almost all my quick adjust options after updating to 1r03x which is the latest tune. They are working on it and have fixed the glitch on the Trinity and are working on the intune from what I'm told

Okay so I'm new to this and can't undated the InTune. I don't need the canned tunes or anything because i will be doing custom tunes. What i do need are some straight ass answers as to how to get my $400 POS to work. I have a Mac with the latest software. How do i get this thing to update.

You plug it into your computer via USB. Wait a minute for your computer to recognize it, then open the InTune.exe. The next thing it will do is check for updates via the internet. Make sure your internet cable is plugged in or your WiFi is connected. If it doesn't download anything, then you are up-to-date already. ("Doesn't" and "Can't" are different things.)

After you've updated your InTune, you'll have to install the latest calibration on your vehicle. Using the OBDII cable, connect your tuner to your vehicle. When prompted to, turn your key to "ON" without starting it. The tuner will store your vehicle info and prompt for an update/calibration. Plug the tuner back into your computer, let it run it's update checker and download the latest calibration software for your vehicle. This is required before tuning your vehicle.

After it's done, plug it back into your vehicle and update/calibrate. Once this is successfully completed, you are ready to tune. Check out some forums for your specific vehicle and see what other people are doing with similar mods. If you've installed some bolt-on mods, be aware that your engine's factory conditions have changed, for which compensation may be needed.

Would you please give the option to update.....NOT just start updating, NO warning !..." Would you like to update", Yes or No.
I'm trying to tune my car and another 40 min update SERIOUSLY, how often is this ?.....GIVE THE OPTION TO SKIP THE UP DATE AND WAIT TILL LATER. I checked for a update because it is buggy......Another hr long update, WHAT... Do not check for updates even a accidental click could mean you are going to have to wait 30 or 45 minuets. where can I find information on what is in the "latest" update, and whether it does anything for me. With out going over 18 pages of post. Please clearly post the latest and greatest update. this unit is a big disappointment in the way it up dates. I had a 45 min update when I bought it, there was a small one and know another 30 40 minute one. What was this update ? Where is the version history so you can decide if you want to do the deed ? I have a 09 dodge challenger. Did it apply to me ? I somehow doubt it. Please considered this.

Dragon23.....the very first page of this thread has the latest update posted on it....when of changes there's a new update and is posted there......but for your problem of wanting to have a choice to update or not....who knows if that'll happen but if you don't plug in your tuner to your Comp..it wont update. Some people have major troubles with updating...but then people like me plug it in and click on the appropriate files and drag them to the tuner and update without any issue. Now my last update messed up somehow and left some options unavailable but they got that fixed...now my tuner is working perfectly.

When I first got it 2 months ago it when through a huge update it was probably closer to a hr, I looked at the first page and the date of that first post is from 2012. About a week ago I clicked on update and it did a small one, which is fine, the other day I just wanted to look at a log, of my start up tune for a cam, and I accidentally hit up date and boom another long update. That make no sense of what was posted on first page, maybe a date change would be helpful, yes the firm ware is the same but the applications are not the same it is very confusing none the less the delay. Waiting for it to Finnish, ment I could not get my revision from the my tunner that night, they had quit for the day, it was very frustrating, lap tops can be twitchy and activate something by misstake... Just like, "are you sure you wish to formate C and not being able to stop lol. I think that would be a huge improvement to have a confirmation prompt, as a safety.

So I decided to check for up dates, to see if it confirms that the first page is the latest.....And I had a up date of coarse... Thought my tool was screwed during this, gave it the benefit of the doubt and re started windows.. It found the new driver, all is good, so I'm on 1r03Y now for the firmware....where is this update info, and what did it fix ?.....It is actually working better, I would just like to read the documentation of this update.... The first page is from 2012 and the version is 1r03x...I'm confused...Ive had a lot of updates but I don't see that there was one to begin with....It is more responsive now I noticed.
