Developed a Low speed knock on my 2010 Challenger R/T auto, most notable when climbing hills at 20 mph around 1500 rpm with a 93 CAI tune. Goes away when I power through it. Tried 91 and stock CAI tunes no help. No codes. Originally on Shell 93, now on Chevron 93, no help. Installed a new intake manifold last year, so it should be clean. Suggestions?

I am new to data logging. I have the predator P/C interface cable and the driver cd. Can you reference me a tutorial so I can get started?

Re: Low speed knock on 5.7 Challenger auto
I hope learned enough on youtube to create my first data log. My laptop battery is too old to go for the ride. I selected a lot of parameters, especially all of the ones for the knock sensors. Again, knock/ping occurs at 20-25mph, around 15-1700 rpm.
Flat road or hill.

Re: Low speed knock on 5.7 Challenger auto
I test drove and data logged a bunch of parameters, including LT and ST KNK. The knock is audible, but not affecting engine performance. During the ten minute log I reviewed, several ST and LT KNK occurances were registered during different driving conditions. I cant tell if what I'm seeing is normal. If it was not for the audible knock I wouldnt be checking. A freind went along for a test drive and pass while listening inside and out. He cant be sure if it is a real knock or something like a heat sheild rattle. I''l be going under the car monday morning to rule that out. Is there anyone on this forum that can help me to interpret the datalog parameters I posted? Thanks in advance.

If its audible is almost certainly not knock. You will never hear knock on modern engines. The knock sensors will pull timing way before it gets that bad.

Re: Low speed knock on 5.7 Challenger auto
The knock turned out to be an internal noise coming from my right hand front muffler. I have a Corsa Sport / Mopar Performance cat back exhaust. Working through the warranty process from corsa for a replacement now. Thanks for all the comments.
