Piggy Backing Tunes?

Post by fordfan1964 »

07 Vista Blue Mustang GT, Airaid Cold Air intake with inserts removed, airaid throttle body spacer, borla axle back exhaust, soon to be pypes off-road x-pipe, u7145 tuner with 91 octane Airaid Tune installed.

I have been thinking about adding a bigger throttle body and possibly the CMCV (not sure on the acronym) delete plates.

If i install the 91 octane airaid tune can i also add these subsequent tunes on top of that and have everything coordinate and make my car run the way i want it to, or do i need to do a custom tune?

Another Question!

Is there a way you can create a tune that actives the Motors on the CMCV plates to keep the butterflies open as if it were removed?

CMCV stands for Charge Motion Control Valves, same as IMRC (Intake Manifold Runner Control) used in the 96-98 Cobra. A custom tune would be able to achieve what you are wanting with the CMCV deletes.

Mike,

Unfortunately i dont have any good tuners around me. One person i have been referred to only does custome tunes for SCT tuners, and another person in the area that does custom tunes... well hes my ex girlfriends cousin and i know how long their cars have lasted. i think four of them have blown motors in ws6 TAs, corvettes, and camaros... so that ones holding me back. i kinda like that my car is still a good daily driver and a good street machine

I can do a custom tune for your Predator. E-mail me and we will discuss it more in detail.
