how to playback datalog

I downloaded datalog viewer 3.3 and learned that it is only for the predator and trinity. I have an I-1000 and have logged a few minutes of missfire and other issues but cannot find how to view the data. I have found the data logs in a file on my pc, but they will not open. What program will open these files for review? The error window shows that another data log program is running and I must close it before opening the current selected file. I have read the instruction booklet twice and see nothing about reviewing the files.
Another question, my files are showing 01/01/2011 as the date of the files. How do I change the dates on the data logging? Can they be changed on the intune or just change the dates on the files on my pc and not worry about the dates that are downloaded with the intune?
