MEGA CROM UPDATE NOW HAVE U1113 CODE THAT WON'T CLEAR

Hi Guys,
So for the 10th or so time I did an update in hopes it was the one to correct all of the EVIC issues that were created by the Trinity in October 2012. My hopes were squashed again as it didn't get my compass, rear wiper, auto headlights and the myriad of other issues corrected.

With that said I thought I'd check the trouble codes, even though I've never had any codes in the past. Low and behold I had a "U1113" Intake air temperature circuit sensor (L/C) open/short. I tried to clear it and it won't clear. I checked the IAT sensor but I don't see any issues and it's plugged in just fine. What could be causing this?? I tried researching the code on the web but can't turn anything up. In 1 place it is listed as "A/C lost pressure message".

Id try disconnecting the battery for a few seconds.

Well guess who's A/C is also not working...!!
I haven't had my hard or bikini top on in weeks but I did today and it's not working since the update.
I'll call tech support in the morning.

Disconnecting the battery didn't do bupkis!
Apparently the U1113 code is about the A/C and not the intake sensor...

Look @ my post "no AC after v.1r12a update"
i never had any errors logged in the past. And after this latest update I have the "U1113 intake air temp ...." error and impossible to erase.
I'm @ the stealership right now and they ran the diagnostic software. U1113 showed up as "lost communication with AC pressure switch" which would cause the AC compressor not to engage...... They installed a new pressure switch ... no change ... tested my pressure switch on another vehicle ... works like a champ.
investigation is still on going as to why no electricity is reaching the compressor.... whether it's from the PCM or the fuse box.

So far no faulty hardware has been found. Not the compressor ... not the fuse box ..not any AC valve and not the board on the AC switches.
If a reflash solves the problem then the DS latest update is the culprit.

PS : I forgot to mention that I've been living without compass and with an erratic rear wiper for almost 2 years now and didn't mind much.
I was just thankful to recover the lost audio functions on the steering.

No news yet ... I'm half way across the world and the communication system with chrysler's database in the US is down.
No reflash possible without it. ....... waiting ....
Got 1 hr left before closing time here ... if com issue isn't resolved I'm cabbing it home.
after eventually solving the issue what do I do with the DS ???
I'd be too scared to use it and upload a tune.
Keep me updated on your forced calibr. & progress.

Well, I just finished the forced calibration update and guess what... NO CHANGE!!!!!!

This is just ridiculous! Every time I call DS it's a different story. This time Mike said he hasn't heard of the EVIC control (Stereo, auto head lights don't work, compass doesn't work etc) in months but I called in a month ago and they told me "they just got another JK in and were in the process of testing".
Now still no EVIC controls and no A/C! They say they don't see how it's anything they caused because the Jeep should be at the stock configuration with the stock tune after the forced calibration update.
Well guess what DS, The friggin' Trinity caused all of this and yet you say it can't be us. I've been very patient in hopes you would man up and fix the problem. I've heard that you were"working on it" so I haven't pushed it but this takes the cake! No A/C in August! What the @%$!. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AND DON'T BS US ANY MORE!

I will blast all of the forums and Facebook with this story since October 2012 to help others from being taken by you if you don't. All I ask is you stand behind your mistake! We're all human, I get that. It's what you do after the mistakes have been made that tells the tale!

In the meantime I have posted on all the Jeep groups on FB and in big bold capital letters a warning to all DS users NOT TO UPDATE TO THE LATEST V.1R12A FILE until further notice.
What sickens me is that I was the 1st to introduce the DS here and hundreds followed in my tracks.
I wonder if I should ditch DS and if Superchips are any better.

Bad news …
Re-flashed the JK @ the Jeep dealership … no change … AC remains unresponsive. DS fried AC com module .
Needs a new PCM …

The good news is that warranty will cover it.
The bad news is that I'll have to wait for 3 - 4 weeks for the new PCM to arrive from the USA via the official channels.

I'm guessing this is what I have to look forward to tomorrow! I have the extended warranty thru Chrysler with a $100.00 deductible. Hopefully the PCM replacement will be covered under the warranty. Loosing $100.00 from would be bad enough from DS programming...
