Programming questions

Post by shaker14 »

I received my programmer and did all the updates.
I programmed 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker with the 91 octane and it honestly seemed a little slower and added about a tenth of a second to my 0-60 times. So I tried the Diablo tune and I seem to have the same result.
I tried messing with timing and fuel, etc... but that just made the engine chug real hard when I started it up and it wouldn't run.

So far I am very disappointed. Can you make any suggestions to help make this tune better(adjusting throttle boost, wot fuel, wot timing, etc... on what program)? What does the throttle boost do?

I have a the factory cold air intake and done a custom exhaust. I am around 5,000 ft and 91 octane is the highest available fuel here.

throttle boost makes the pedal more sensitive.

load the 91 tune with no changes then post the tune files from the tunes folder here please.

id strongly suggest you load the tune before you decide it doesn't work based on 2 internet posts :)

There are 1000s and 1000s of tuned challys out there, if it didnt work, they wouldn't sell, simple as that :)

Ok..i just tuned my 2014 challenger shaker for the first time..itsaid the tune was completed. But I dont notice any changes..i changed the rpm, changed to a firmer shif and agressive throttle.. nothing seems to have changed..Also why doesnt my tuner have a 93 tune..just a economy and 91.
I sure hope I havent waisted my hard earned money. Ive havd many mustangs, this is my first challenger and I know the stangs wake up with a tune..I dont notice anything with this and dont think it even changed anything.

If you dont notice the shifts or throttle, I am not sure what to suggest.

Put it back to stock and see if you miss it ;)

try and put it to stock... check your programmer for latest version and update it just a suggestion ... you should have a 93 tune on there just hook it up to your pc and update your firmware

just a thought hope you figure it all out
