O2 sensors issue
O2 sensors issue
Hello,
Need some advice from Gurus..
So I am going to get a custom tune.
All my mods are CAI and Diablo tune so far. Just need more customized tune.
I am submitting my log files here along with my last flashed tune.
Could you help me to determine if there is something wrong in my LOGs?
Thanks in advance!
Vadim

Re: O2 sensors issue
Dear Support,
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
So the problem is that
Both my LTFTs are showing zeros, tried several times with different logging options but with the same rezult.
They both zeros even with original backup.
Went to the shop but nothing was found (i.e. all O2 sensors front/rear are OK).
I noticed that I have filtered LTFT PIDs, maybe I shall use them instead of default LTFT PIDs?
Any advice?

Re: O2 sensors issue
we dont determine what data the pcm spits out, have you tried checking with a different scan tool?

Re: O2 sensors issue
Thank you.
Yes, I tried that already.
I even managed to visit a local shop to check my vehicle status (O2 troubleshooting has been performed in conjunction with errors codes scanning in particular)
No faults found..
Do you need my original backup (stock PCM/TCM tune)?

Re: O2 sensors issue
the tunes have no effect on this, if you see the same data with any scan tool than thats simply as issue with the vehicle.

What kind of issue it could be?
..and how all this can affect the possibility for custom tune creation for my vehicle?
Is that something that is still possible?
I will try to log some other PIDs (such as Filtered LTFTs) if that helps..
Just let me know.
Thanks
Re: O2 sensors issue
Some update:
I went to another shop and they were able to find P0010 code (attached).
Do you think it could somehow affect my LTFT readings?
Thanks.

Re: O2 sensors issue
that may be keeping it from going to closed loop, hence the lack of fuel trims.

Re: O2 sensors issue
Makes sense to me..
Tks.
Will see if I can get this problem fixed and then I will proceed to recheck LTFT values.

Re: O2 sensors issue
I think I should start a new topic. It turned into completely separate issue.
It is not really a problem.
I will try to explain it here, if you prefer I can create a new thread for this case.
So essentially the ex-owner of this car has done a LS3 conversion.
L99 is now LS3 engine, without VVT cam and all related stuff like AFM.
My problem is that ECU is still looking for VVT camshaft actuator signal which of course doesn't exists anymore.
Q1: is that possible to turn VVT off in the tune file with Trinity tool? if so what are the steps?
Q2: if that is not possible, can someone help me to do that remotely (email tune)? This way I can get the accurate fuel trims data and subsequently get a good custom tune from your side.
Please advice!
Thank you,
Vadim

Re: O2 sensors issue
so he put in an LS3 and kept the automatic tranny??
DOD can be disabled in the tune..
but there are no VVT settings/tables in the tune file for that...
if the car is now an LS3, then the ECM should be updated by your dealer to LS3 programming...

ys the tranny is still A6.06MonteSS wrote:so he put in an LS3 and kept the automatic tranny??

it is LS3 conversion and the ECM should have been updated I agree but it is still the same.
I found some infor from guys who have done the same conversion that they basically make some update of ECM tune. Not sure which tool they use.
The dealer has no idea on what was done on the car
So to clarify: there is no way to "turn off" the VVT part in ECU? Perhaps something related with VVT cam actuator signal?
Thanks
