have the key turned to ON position but engine not running?

everything inside the truck turned off?

have anything aftermarket, like aftermarket stereo, subs, amps, nav, remote start, trailer brake/light setup, etc? if so, you need to to disconnect everything like that...

and make sure your battery is fully charged...

I unplugged my remote start the process seemed to start to work and saved my factory settings. turning the tuner install
it stopped midway said unpplug start over, did that then it said this needs to go back to factory setting click continue did that and at about 92% says it can't be written gives an error code of "PCM error write failed (-1)" and now my truck won't even start.

still sounds like there is some aftermarket electronics causing interference.
