Traction Control

Post by American Muscle »

I have a 2012 Dodge Charger R/T and I was wanting to have some fun with the traction control turned off but every time I try to turn it off with my Intune it gets to about 10% and says that it fails. I've tried it 5 times and then disconnected it and tried it again. Can someone offer some help on this?

Ok so far I filled out 2 requests for technical support and I have yet to get a response back and one was filled out a week ago. If I am missing something please let me know. This is getting very frustrating. Why put a feature on the handheld tuner that does not work?

I see you filled one out on 5/18, to which I replied in less than 30 minutes, asking for the info file, and never heard anything back from you.

Thats the only one I see.

Besides that, I replied pretty quick here as well, no need for the frustration :)

When you have features that need to work on 1000s of different vehicle and calibrations, and they al handle them a iittle bit differently, unfortunately there are times when we run into an issue, but we always try to resolve it.

I appreciate your response and I understand that when you deal with electronics sometimes things don't always go the way you want. I will get back to you via email and hopefully we can try to get this problem resolved. Thank you =)
P.S. Sorry for coming off rude, it just wasn't my day lol

So what was the solution to this issue?? I just tuned my 2011 Dodge Charger SXT 3.6L for the first time about and hour ago with the 91 Octane tune which installed just fine but it was doing the same thing to me when i tried to disable traction control…it got about 10% and gave me a failed message…i tried twice and it failed both times.

If you could offer any suggestions on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

As per my discussion this afternoon with technical support...the technician wanted me to post a message including my "Info.xml" file for them to have a look at as we tried on the phone today to disable my traction control and it was failing.
