Re: NEW AND NEED HELP
Welcome to the Trinity...
I'm new to the Trinity also, but I'll share what I know to get you started.
Down load this, you'll need it - http://www.dslogredux.com/index.html
Now, start with the 'can' tune of your choice... Drive for a while with the tune so the PCM adjusts/learns it. Like about 100 miles... Maybe less, some say.
Then create a log and save it to an SD card if you have one for your Trinity. Open this log in DataViewer (installed from the Trinity CD). Then export this log to a .CSV file. That is the format that you'll need for the DSLogRedux program.
Now once you have DSLogRedux installed follow the program instructions, open the .csv file you created in DataViewer, and DSLogRedux will show you where you're at with your truck and makes recommendations to "improve" your setup.
This is the next best thing to a 'custom tune'. But, if you want a custom tune, you'll still need to create a log, as above.
Hope this helps a little... You'll need to do a little reading, but I found this pretty simple to get started in the right directions, but I have questions too, I hope someone can clear up in another post.
Good Luck and have fun with your Trinity.
Nice truck you have there by the way...

your not alone , just putting in a new mid-pipe and a Borla cat back on my 08 GMC sierra 6.0 ltr 4x4 Z71. I was a product of local exhaust idiot who cut the Y pipe and installed true duals with no x or h pipe and to my suprise these AFM trucks NEED back pressure , so if your cutting your stock muffler off ....be CAREFUL , thats why diablo trinity, was told cold air intake and a performance restricted muffler was best ... if anyone cuts there factory straight pipe of ALL MANUFACTURES RECOMMEND 2 3/4 OR 3" STRAIGHT PIPE AND IF RUNNING DUALS make sure they stay 2 1/4 from muffler ...unless your installing long tube headers , high flow cats and true duals with H pipe and still reduce behind muffler these damn 07-09 6.0 and all AFM motors are so restricted it sucks . Sorry about rambling , dont want anyone to feel the same $ 2500 and rising from rushing into making changes without researching first ... MOST EXHAUST GUYs DONT understand new gm motors only $ signs . Hope to hear about your install and exp on trinity , bought a laptop yesterday for I'm a apple family and ohhhh didnt see diablo ran on micro only , going to set up today . GOOD LUCK
