intune locked after update

Post by P40Hawk »

I restored my truck back to stock before I updated the InTune. The handheld showed a white screen during the 91 octane tune install. I rebooted the handheld and started to restore the truck and the restore flashed a white screen. I rebooted again and now it is stuck in restore mode. The scroll circle does not change following the first power/key cycle. Attached are the only files I can find that you may need. My Truck is a very pretty paperweight.

Spent all day on the phone with customer service. Finally restored the tool with a new pass code. If you have a similar issue just call customer service.

Do you know what the problem was? Why did the update cause that to happen? That's why I'm afraid to update mine. I wish they would post when there's an update and a changelog like everyone else does when updating.

if the tool is working fine for your vehicle, there is no reason to update it..

as the saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
