Diablo tune with Cai ???????

Post by Sblightsout_is_back »

How should I adjust the fuel parameters in the Diablo Tune to accompany my cold air intake on my 2012 SRT8 Charger ? I've heard people say add 5% fuel across all three bands but when you add +5% of fuel it actually looks like it's going to be lean on the Intune device and actually -5% would be rich . Please someone help me on which way I need to go

I'm also assuming the "Diablo" tune is the 93 octane too ?

Have u found an answer yet ? I was just wondering cause I would like to know my self. I have a 2013 ram 1500 sport, I put the 91 octane tune in and also have a K&N cai. Put flowmaster exhaust out back so as it breath's in with the intake, it can exhale out the back. My DCX-i1000 doesn't know its there, so I was wondering how to incorporate the CAI into the system so I can get the most out of the $390 I spent on this tuner. There should be an option on the tuner where u can put in your CAI in like u do the tire size. I don't know anything about the fuel or air mixtures, so if Diablo ever gets back with u, I will know what to put in. Sorry I couldn't help. By the way, the Diablo tune is 93 OCT., but mine seems to run better on the 91 tune.

The cold air intakes you guys are talking about adjust on their own based on the intake sensor that's plugged into the intake. And the flowmaster exhaust has not done anything but add sound to your vehicle. It has not made it breather better. Now if you added headers and all new exhaust from the new headers to a new mid pipe such as an x pipe or H pipe and then added a catback. Then you have modified the exhaust to do something other than add sound. And a flowmaster chambered muffler is not a muffler that makes any exhaust exhale the exhaust any better. You want an exhaust system that creates a scavenging effect. And when I say exhaust system I mean an entire exhaust system as described above.
So with the intake and flowmaster that you installed there is nothing the tuner could do or would need to do most importantly.
