I ran the 100 hp and got less than 1mpg increase driving like grandpa. Power was excellent except for the 3/4 throttle 2700rpm stutter. It's pretty bad. I'm on the 65hp now with very hard shifting when cold but ok when warm. I'll run this tank of fuel and see how the MPG's are. I'm getting about 15.5mpg on the 100hp tune on my 03 6.0 ext.cab longbed straight pipe and K&N intake/filter. My cal id is VXAP1N6 with no codes....... Cole, I would like a better mpg tune to try..... Thanks Todd P.S. It's still better than stock.........

r20

Post by MACHISE »

millage 100 hp I got 17.7 with r17 dash showed 20 I'm getting 17.3 with r20 Dash shows 17.8
This is a interstate trip i make every week 200 miles fill up at the same station each time and no I'm not running shine.
Power 100 hp not quite as responsive to the peddle as r17 but feels stronger after the turbo builds
Turbo builds to around 26-28
Doesn't blow antifreeze out the way r19 did
I'm not sure about the fuel quality right now at the price we pay they may be cutting back or not adding something I have noway of knowing this
It would be nice to have the r17 low end and the r19 high end

Looks like the 60hp runs good except for the hard shifts when cold. Has some kickass mid throttle takeoff on the interstate. Fuel mileags looks like it sucks though. Less than stock and the 100hp tune.

I like the new R20 shifts are perfect and fuel Econ. is better. I wish the turbo lag would B less. Espically on the 100 HP tune. Lets face it If I wanted fuel Econ with a 100 Hp I would b crazy. keep the 65 for econ and soup up the 100 for black smoke tire burnin fun! Thanks for constantly working on the U165

Cole, I would like to try an r20-100 custom tune something closer to r17-100 if one's available. Currently I'm not getting any codes or having issue with r20-100 other than what I've already stated.

Hey there, Ihave the r20 On my truck and everything is working good.I am using the 65 HP tune. My Fuel Mileage is an Avg. of 18 MPG. Just wanted to say that r20 is working good for me. Was also wondering when yall are going to add speedo adjustment for tire size.

Diesel fuel mileage

Post by rbob »

My calibraiton ID is VXCF4DX and I have a F250 - 2005. I haven't seen very much increase since the last update. Can you do any better with a custom tune ?
Thank rbob.

Just keep releasing rev updates but you never seem to fix the problem .When are we going to have a tune that actually works on all trucks? I have not had a tune that worked right since rev 17 !

relax dude... we're all waiting for stuff... hell, I'm still waiting for an update for tranny support - venture over to the GM forum and see how long THAT'S been goin on... but they have a lot of stuff goin on, other things to work on than just cater specifically to us as individuals... they have shit to do for the masses...

so chill out and give 'em some time...

if cole said he was going to have a new update out.. he will have it out...
