Whats so different btwn Car and truck Hemis

that has caused the DR Predator to be delayed? Is it the computer, the transmissions or ???? I have a take out 5.7 Hemi & auto trans from a truck and was wondering if I switched over to a car computer, tranmission or ???? would I then be able to use the Car Predator?

I would assume that the intakes are probably different for starters. The transmission must be different, I hope that the truck is designed for more bottom end torque or else I would never consider buying a dodge ram and stick with the F-series Ford's

Basically everything.
The biggest issue would be the communications protocol used in the trucks...some are CAN, some are ISO, some have both....PITA.

from what i understand, the lx cars have more torque. not sure about bottom end, but the cars are pushing about 10 (i beleive) ftlbs more than the trucks.

and the its not the engine or trans that is a problem...its the actual control moduals that are posing a problem (the controllers for the engine and trans).

The question was relative to the Predator required for each......not the physical differences between the the car and truck motors.
