I know that you are working on fixing the ability to modify the tire size and gear ratio now that the Dead Peddle issue appears to be fixed, but will you be adding MPG Boost Canned Tune back soon also? I am using the 87 Octane Tune without issues, so thank you for your work on that. 2015 3.5 Ecoboost using the I2 tuner.

Thanks

This isn't a dead pedal related question, however you guys seem to be well informed on the ecoboost engines.

Any suggestions for a cool/cold air intake, y pipe or exhaust system for a 2015. Have heard a lot but would like a few first hand/real world suggestions/experiences.

Thanks in advance...

excellent :)

honestly they all work pretty good. the unfortunate thing about ecoboost is there is almost no way to make them sound really good. lol they all sound weird. cant go wrong with magnaflow for fit, finish, and quality. as for cold air intakes i like the injens, and the roush. air raid makes a nice drop in filter setup as well. honestly i cant see there being a big difference between them i wish jlt made one because i love there intakes on the mustangs but they don't :(

Ok my truck is working fine no dead pedal issue anymore i went for the 87 octane tune i dont feel that much power but what i did notice is i am getting very bad fuel economy stock i used to get 13.5 13 on the city now with the tune i am getting 11 11.5 thr best is 12 but it takes me like 5 min to get to 45 lol is this normal or is there something wrong bt the way my truck is 2015 f150 ecoboost 4x4 crew cab platinium so its kind of heavy but on stock it was not giving me that bad fuel range.

thats odd, restore the stock tune then reload the tune with no changes and see how it feels.

Anyone ever use the aFe products.

Looks like they make everything from intakes and inter-coolers to exhausts for the Eco Boosts.

Tire size caibration

Post by hawkeyebox »

I posted back on12/21 and asked about the tire size calibration. Any new information on that? Were you able to get into the required modules?

I have ran the new 87 octane after the dead pedal issue and noticed that when I am driving and give a little more throttle the truck surges and sometimes I get a tick noise from the engine. I thought maybe running 89 octane would help but it doesn't. Any help?
