Creating gauges for logging

Needed to create my initial data log for my mail-order tune as per monteSS instructions. My problem is that after i choose the screens and saved them I could never get the record screen. The only way I was able to get the data log was to use the GM gas screens . As soon as i choose them I was able to hit the record, drive and get the data log and then saved as a new name. Question Does the GM Gas stock screens give my tuner enough info to create the tune?

save it with a new name and the device will let you pick that layout from the logging or monitoring menu.
