Only 1 tune?

Post by TwoSmoke294 »

So I got my i2 2030 and did the updates to it through the computer first. When plugged into my truck for the easy tune 91 octane and 93 octane are grayed out and can't select them. 87 octane and mpg are available so i picked 87, but then it says this will install mpg boost tune? I installed it and got the afm and tm off and firm shift enabled but kinda bummed that its only letting me do mpg boost as I wanted a little performance boost. Could someone help me with this?

Really strange never heard this one before. WHen you ran the update did you save any update to the root drive and not the tune files. It seems to be one of the misunderstood parts about saving updates be sure to not try and save in any files only to the root drive I2, just a thought . Mike and the team will help sort it out and you will be impressed with this tuner it is way better than any on the market, just going through some growing pains. :drivingbad: :drivingbad:

I just ran the updater, it found an update when I first did it. It downloaded it then I installed it too the device. Now it says no new updates when I run the update tool.

Use the advanced menu, it will present all tunes.

Thanks

Well, I tried going to the advanced menu but then all of those tunes are "flex". Aren't those for E-85? Any help is greatly aprreciated.

flex refers to gas or e85, those are the correct tunes.
