2012 Jeep Wrangler 3.6 w/ M6 Trans
Trinity t1000
ser# 6OBSX53-3
Part #dcx_gas
ver#v.1r13h
DSDL version: 2.3.0.4
When trying to upload a simple Diablo canned tune to my Jeep I get the message "Calibration 68090870AH is not supported. We need to downgrade to 68090870AG in order to continue."
So I connect the trinity to my computer via USB, after having already downloaded and install DSDL w/ drivers. It opens and connects to the device just fine, but then immediately goes into some sort of automatic crom file update for a regular 1r13 crom file, gets roughly 10% into the process and the software locks up. I tried just letting it sit and "think" for about 30+ minutes and still no dice. The issue is that I don't have time to select any other option such as manually loading a different .crom file before the automatic crom updating begins.
Here's my questions:
1)It appears that I need to "downgrade" the current 1R13h dcx gas crom file to an older one (1r13f or g???) in order to have it reflect the required "AG" calibration mentioned above; and I guess because 1r13h is buggy according to some folks in here. I have my hands on a 1r13f crom file, but cannot manually upload because of he issues with DSDL trying to auto-update the crom.
2)Is there some way to prevent DSDL from automatically attempting to run the update function that keeps failing so that I may manually load the proper old-version crom file to the trinity through the Update Tool function?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: DSDL locking up during automatic CROM file upload
UPDATE: I have since been looking on the forum and messing with different things including setting DSDL to turn off autoconnect and just connecting via legacy connect. This does allow me to manually attempt to load the different .crom file that I need, but for whatever reason the Dodge DCX-based .crom files fail to upload. I tried loading a ford can gas .crom file as a test to see if anything could be written to the trinity and that .crom file loaded just fine manually. For whatever reason it does not want to upload the dcx firmware.
Re: DSDL locking up during automatic CROM file upload
Its not the dsdl software , it is the 1r13h update itself... just use the 1r13 mega crom file which will install the gm, ford and dcx files. Once you put the mega crom file on your trinity you should be good to go. The 1r13h file is bugged to high hell and has caused issues with other trinitiys from what i have seen the last couple of weeks and the mega crom works just fine.

Let it do its thing with the autodownload, then just reinstall the 1r13 mega crom over it. Takes a little longer but at least it should not kill your jeep or your tuner.

Re: DSDL locking up during automatic CROM file upload
The issue was with the latest version of the DSDL software itself being the issue. However, with that said, I ended up erring on the side of caution and loaded the 1r13 firmware into the unit because I noticed some were mentioning how buggy the "h" version is. Before I reverted to the older version of the DSDL program, the newest version would neither work with the older 1r13 firmware nor the 1r13h which means the particular issue I was encountering is rooted in the DSDL software itself.
I replied to my other thread with something of similar affect, but am posting my update here as well so that it may perhaps help others that could encounter a similar issue. Thanks for the response azhemi.
