Custom tune question

I am getting a custom tune installed on my car. Before, with the canned Diablo tunes I would have to install the original tune to check for updates and then retune the car after the updates. With a custom tune and not one of the Diablo canned tunes? Will I just be able to update my Trinity without putting the tune back to the original?

you do not go back to original backup first.. if you do that, you will not be able to import the custom tune into the trinity..

so just import the custom tune into the trinity, and then install it into the car.
