Dumb questions (probably) but can I use this particular tune in a 2011 5.3 Silverado?
Will this simply add to the 87 octane tune I've already installed?

I've seen other posts of tune attachments made by you guys, can they be used by anyone or are they specific to the OP vehicle?

no.. tunes are vehicle specific.. they will only work on the specific vehicle they were made for.. they're locked to a vehicle by VIN number and engine calibration ID's. so no, you can not use anyone else's tune files...

Hey Mike,

I used the speed tune you posted. Then I made changes to rev limiter etc. But for whatever reason, the dates modified don't correspond to the dates I made changes.

Have a look, would love to get that hard shift back/tq management off feeling back. I know something isn't right, going to my *test* run spot, its just not the same.

Thanks!
Nate
the i1000 doe snot have a clock so it does not keep dates, thats normal, not sure what else you could be doing unless you chose a different tune?
