2013 Charger SE Traction Control fails to turn off

Post by carolinayarber »

I have a 2013 Charger SE and I can get to the Traction Control parameter but each time I access it and turn it off it says "failed to load". Any suggestions?

By the way I am running the 93 octane boost with 20 percent throttle boost, and mds off. I have tried several more times to turn off traction control, it will let me enter the parameter to change it but keeps saying failed to load.

Please help.

Try to spin the tires and see if traction control is off. When I changed my tire size it said failed but still changed the speedometer. I saw where someone else told Mike about this and he said it is working even though there is a bug in the tuner.

I`ve tried but only get a chirp. I saw that post also. I've got the 3.6l so only way I can get any tire spin is to power brake. I know it's a long shot with the v6 but I'd like to see some smoke off the back tires. If I power brake then let off the brake the engine just drops rpm and then slowly takes off with a little chirp of the tires. I'm just guessing (may be wrong) but I think the rpm drop is the TC still locking up the tire spin. I've added an afe momentum gt cai, between that and the 93 octane setting I should be over well over 300 hp. Maybe I'm old school but that should be enough to keep a tire spinning in a burn out.

I'm not expecting a v6 to roast the tires every time I take off but it would be fun on occasion.

Any other v6 owners noticed an engine lag after power braking? (I know it's not recommended but common we didn't buy these cars for picking up groceries) .
