Tune Failed
I tried to install a tune on my 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0T and it failed to install to so it said it was going to restore original backup. It gives me an error when trying. Says unable to restore original backup. TCM:error unlock for reflash(-1). Car will not shift and feels like it is stuck in second gear. Need help with this

try disconnecting the battery for a moment then reconnect and let it try to restore from there.
if that does not work please give us a call with the tool powered up in the vehicle.

Took car to dealer for them to fix. They said the "39716 loss of communication with tcm check power and grd of tcm 12.7v on pins 1,12,9 and 0.3 ohms on pin 2 - replace tcm and seals and program new tcm"

yes, please fax or email the dealer invoice to us then call with the tool powered up and we'll reset it.

Do to work and busy family life I did not get time to try and install a tune on my Cadillac ATS 2.0 T since having car repaired and T1000 tuner reset. I tried to install the diablo tune on my car this afternoon but it fails to install. Says " Original Backup NOT SAVED (-30) " "Trinity is rejecting backup, it appears to be a Trinity tune. " " Not tuning vehicle because of backup (4) ".
This is getting to be a little upsetting since I bought this Diablo tuner and have yet to get it to work with my car. Your support hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm which are the hour in which I am not able to call because I have job during the day. I do not get home until 6pm. I really hope you can help me figure out the issue with this.

well, it seems the dealer did not actually flash the car is the tool is saying there is still a diablo tune there.
We'll need ot get the dealer or someone to actually flash the car if the trinity has already been reset.

What do I tell the dealer the reason for getting it flashed without voiding the warranty?
