Computer won't recognize intune 2

Post by Bhartman15 »

I need some help. I have a Trinity T1000 and it updates beautifully. I just purchased an intune 2030 and when I plug it into my laptop, it's only recognized as a generic drive and I can't open anything. How do I get it to recognize it so I can update it?
Please let me know. Thanks.

Did you find a fix? I'm having a similar issue.

on a windows machine, usually if you unplug it for a few seconds, then reconnect it, it will install it's drivers and be recognized..

may have to disable any antivirus you have running..

I often (like every time often) have the same problem- the I2 shows up in the device manager but no F: or D: or G: drives show up. Is there a way to force the USB driver to install?
And as a tuner who goes back and forth between I2's an I1000's a lot, how can I make this more of an efficient transition each time without the headaches?

right click i2000, uninstall and choose check box to remove everything associated with this device, then reboot tool and i2 drive should appear.

Ok - this fix worked- oddly I have to do it anytime I switch between plugging an I1000 and an I2 into my laptop (but not my desktop) for anyone else's information to get it to work; I double clicked the i2000 drive (in device manager) and then go to Drivers and click uninstall then the empty check box appears and you can check the box and complete the un-installation for the two I2 drives, then un plug, replug and the drive should appear.

its a windows file association issue, we're trying to convince the driver to sort it out itself.
