Fuel Type

Post by Deerebilt1 »

Have. '16 Silverado LT Z71 Crew Cab 5.3 6AT. I drive for mileage and have a V8. I shut off DoD that's all good. I drive mostly in town. For best mileage and performance. Do I give it a 87 Tune and run 87 Ethanol. Or a 91/ Diablo tune and run 91 Alcohol Free. Using Top Tier fuel from Cenex.

For best performance, use the highest octane fuel you can find with the Diablo tune.

Try all of the tunes. I found my best mpgs using the 87 tune, better than the mpg tune.

With what grade of fuel. My choices here are 87 w/Ethanol or 91 Straight Gas.
